Edito: The step of 250.000 messages has been exceeded a few time ago in our community forum! Our online translation tool has been improved. We are now looking for Translations Managers, who will validate the proposals submitted by our contributors.

Furthermore, a new exhibition taking place at the end of the month in Paris is announced for PrestaShop: come to meet us on E-Retail, the exhibition dedicated to virtual and physical outlets!

What is the E-Retail exhibition?

E-Retail is part of the MD Expo trade show and offers companies the chance to go further in their sales objectives.

About PrestaShop's translations

A complete German translation for PrestaShop

Under the leadership of our partner agency Silbersaiten, the German translation for our software has known a new rush, and is now up to 100%.

We are looking for Translations Managers!

Our online translation tool developments are well advanced and we are now looking for translations managers, which role will be to validate the contributions made by members of the community through this tool.

Some managers are already in action for German, French, Danish, Chinese and Russian.

If you want to contribute to PrestaShop managing translations available in your language, please write us, we will consider each application!

About the developments – PrestaShop v.1.3 beta 1

One week after the release of the beta 1 version of PrestaShop 1.3, the feedback is good, and we are approaching a final version.

See below the list of corrections made since last week:

• Added a search option in the Back Office
• Correction of scenes regeneration
• Added an informational message when redirecting to PayPal
• Fixed a bug about currency and free shipping
• Correction on the cart summary when taxes are disabled
• Added the module "Catalog Checkup"

PrestaStore... Now hiring!

You are passionate by PrestaShop, you have the sense of initiative, are looking for a young innovative company and you live in or near Paris?

To support the development of its PrestaStore marketplace, PrestaShop is seeking a trainee in LAMP development.

You will be responsible for functional and technical validation (search for malicious code) in modules offered by the community and the development of new modules for PrestaShop. A perfect knowledge of object-oriented PHP 5 and MySQL is of course essential.
